This was a very special piece for this particular person.. she had recently lost her mother to a long battle with cancer. She had this life cast made just before she passed. A message written from her mother is laser engraved into the bottom of the sculpture.
A mother and daughters clasping hands cast in bronze, and finished with a antique patina. The client provided me with a plaster master of the form you see in bronze. The master for this sculpture was created by using alginate to create a "life " cast.
