A ring is molded from a scorpion tail(minus the stinger)
this particular ring is cast in 14k yellow gold , much like the color of specimen it came from. this ring is available in size 4-7.

i believe the specimen used for making the mold was a "Bark Scorpion"
The US species, Centruroides exilicauda (Bark Scorpion-pale yellow in color), is found over much of the Southwest. Also known as the bark scorpion, they are pale and small, making them extremely difficult to see.
