this ring was made as a prop for a short movie..
the design for the ring was first sketched out by hand.. that sketch was then re rendered in a 3D jewelry software program.. from there it was cast in bronze.. the apparatus on the back of the ring is a small glitter cannon.. the front gets packed with glitter, the actor holds his/her finger over that end, the other end has an air line hooked up to it... when the time is right the talent removes their finger from the open end allowing the glitter to fly out... MAGIC!!
